1. Site Preparation
: Conduct a geotechnical survey and confirm soil conditions.
o Clear and level the work area, ensuring safe access for piling equipment.
2. Material Handling
Supply and inspect sheet piles to ensure compliance with design specifications.
o Position piles along the designated alignment using survey control.
3. Driving Operations
o Utilise vibratory or impact hammers mounted on cranes or piling rigs to drive sheet piles to the required depth.
o Monitor verticality and alignment during driving to maintain structural integrity.
o Record penetration resistance and driving logs for quality assurance.
4. Cutting and Capping
of Trim sheet piles to the designed elevation.
o Install waling beams, tie rods, and capping systems according to the structural design of the sheet piling support.
5. Quality Control and Safety
: Perform inspection and verification of pile depth and interlock engagement.
o Implement all HSE measures, including noise and vibration monitoring.
6. Finalisation
o Prepare as-built documentation and hand it over for subsequent construction activities.
